Part Deux

I'm probably the luckiest person in the world to actually have one of my favorite childhood books still in good shape which I brought along with me to Japan. I carried the book because I wasn't certain on what my teaching aesthetic would be in the beginning. The title of the book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?"....long title but a popular book that was publish 28 years ago. The book goes through a series of colors and animals and finally as a bit of suspense the monkey is asked what he sees and the answer is "I see children looking at me" which always ellicits laughter. The book is well illustrated and was a poignant memory in my personal development.

  1. Kalisa,
I remember that book, it is awesome. I could have put a lot of books on this. One of my favorites which I will be pulling of the shelf tonight is "The Plump and Perky Turkey" my older kids still come around whne I read that.
